He has extensive experience and recognition in the sector, being a pioneer in the field of restructuring companies stressed economically or financially, with extensive experience in crisis and pre-crisis situations. Among its various actions, it defines the most appropriate strategy to achieve the viability of the company, and try to avoid the bankruptcy procedure and optimize the proper application of available resources.

Mainly, he advises debtor companies, although he has recognized experience in actions in defense of creditors’ credit.

Javier prepares and advises on the Refinancing Agreements, currently called Restructuring Plans (PR), according to the Consolidated Text of the Insolvency Law (TRLC). PRs are the most efficient instrument for restructuring an enterprise, primarily by restructuring financial debt and even commercial debt and public-law credits. His experience allows him to apply for the position of Restructuring Expert, a new figure foreseen in the TRLC, as a mediator in negotiation processes of PRs.

In addition, it has participated in the conduct of multiple bankruptcy proceedings as a remedy to facilitate debt restructuring, through the approval of creditor agreements, the sale in block or part of the so-called Productive Units and, where appropriate, the orderly winding-up of the undertaking. Defense and promotion of the classification of creditors as guilty, rescission actions, etc.
