José Manuel leads the legal direction of a wide variety of civil and commercial litigation. His professional career is distinguished by solid experience and specialization in areas such as construction law, real estate, distribution, contractual disputes, civil liability, corporate conflicts, and issues related to insurance law.
He regularly and consistently advises companies on the negotiation and drafting of complex contracts related to civil and commercial transactions, offering a strategic approach tailored to each client’s specific needs.
His involvement in corporate transactions includes mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate restructurings, and the establishment of foundations, contributing to the consolidation and expansion of business projects.
In the academic field, he combines his professional practice with notable teaching activity, delivering specialized training in procedural law and participating as a speaker in prestigious legal conferences and seminars.

- Lecturer on Civil and Commercial Contract Law at the Master’s in Law course organised by the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía. Position held since 2004.
- Lecturer on the Real Estate and Construction Law Course run by the Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Barcelona, covering issues related to consumer rights in construction and the regulation of construction in Catalonia, with particular reference to the Catalan Housing Act 18/2007, plus the legal aspects of works contracts in real estate development. From 2004 to 2011.
- Former President of the Construction Law Section of the Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Barcelona. Position held from 2006 to 2009 and 2017- actually.
- Lecturer on a practical technical course on property rights for staff and officials at Instituto Catalán del Suelo. The course addressed the theoretical and practical aspects of holdback rights, purchase options and rights of first refusal. Course organised by the Centro para la Investigación y Desarrollo del Derecho Registral, Inmobiliario y Mercantil, 2009.
